The background music is ‘Pieter Botha’ from Ali Farka Toure’s Niafunke album. Pieter (PW) Botha (also known as the ‘Big Crocodile’) was the second to last prime minister to be elected only be white South Africans before the end of Apartheid. As fas as I can recall from the liner notes, the song was written in solidarity with the people of South Africa.
