For actors, getting booked is a good thing — perhaps the only thing. This is Josh Alexander. He’s my best friend’s cousin. I don’t know Josh very well, but I do know he’s been acting for nearly 10 years, maybe more. I also know like any actor who’s fighting the good fight, he has auditioned countless times and has been rejected countless more. Yesterday, Josh was featured in this full page ad that ran in The Wall Street Journal. And last week, he was featured in a TV ad that aired during the Rose Bowl. Incidentally, this ad campaign by Southwest Airlines has brought work to other New York actors and improvisers, some of whom I know personally. And, like Josh, they are all fighting the good fight.
